The Brian D Hodges Symposium
The event known previously as ‘THESIS’ will be replaced with a new annual event called the ‘Brian D. Hodges Symposium’, to be held at the BMO Education & Conference Centre located at TWH.
Our dynamic and interactive program is led by Wilson Centre Scientists with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research and representing diverse theoretical, disciplinary, and methodological perspectives. The atelier will help you refine your HPE research interests and develop a foundational understanding of HPE research principles, methodologies, and applications.
Wilson Centre is proud to continue its support of qualitative research in the health professions by offering a four-day intensive program in intermediate-level qualitative research. Participants will have the opportunity to hone their research skills in this dynamic and interactive program led by some of the world’s most respected health professions education qualitative researchers.
Say Something Atelier
The Say Something workshop brings together four experts, across two days, who will work with a small group of participants (maximum 10) on how to do this. Through the use of strong narrative and mnemonic tools; a basic understanding of memory; and a rich introduction to performance; this workshop will help participants develop presentations which go far beyond the need for bullet lists.
